Depending on the CADR, the effective coverage area of an air cleaner can be determined. The Luftmed D600, our high-performance air purifier, is suitable for interiors up to 60m²/150m³.
The so-called Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) is the international standard for measuring the cleaning efficiency of air cleaners. It determines how much cubic meter indoor air can be efficiently filtered in one hour. Our high-performance air purifier D600 has a CADR of more than 500m³/h.
Derived from the CADR and the determined room size, it can be specified in how many minutes a complete cleaning cycle of the indoor air can be achieved. All Luftmed air purifiers are able to completely clean your indoor room air in less than 15 minutes under optimal conditions.

OZONE FREE ACTIVE ION TECHNOLOGY

Our patented Active Ion Technology supports the physical filter system for an even more efficient purification:
The active-ion technology is a further development of the already existing technology in the industry, which is patented by Luftmed. For the measurement, the highly sensitive particle and odor sensors installed in all Luftmed air purifiers are used.
The AIT module installed in the air purifier can emit the correct, positive and negative ion concentration step by step from the currently measured air quality and thus automatically initiate intelligent air purification. There are two possible concentrations: green with increased fine dust values and blue with increased bacteria and viruses.
The emitted ions bind any particles and pollutants such as pollen, fine dust and house dust, mold spores, bacteria and viruses. In this bond the ions “hang” on the pollutants; a chemical reaction is created, which initiates the sterilization process.
The reactive ions remove hydrogen atoms from the cells of the particles and thereby cause the cleavage and inactivation of the pollutants. Thus, the particles can be more easily picked up and filtered through the physical cleaning system. No dangerous ozone is emitted during the entire process.
